"I am currently tooking lessons with Mayu-sensei and she is extremely professional and patient. She encourages me to speak only Japanese and not be afraid of making mistakes. I like her method, especially the fact that she uses different materials to stimulate conversation (e.g. watching anime, reading newspaper articles, etc.). After each lessons she also send me notes on new vocabs and learned expression. I highly recommend to choose her lessons if you know a little bit of grammar and want to experiment real-life conversations."
"Mayu-sensei is an incredibly patient and supportive teacher who is helping me a lot on my journey to improve my Japanese conversation skills. I really enjoy the free talk classes because they push me out of my comfort zone and encourage me to speak more Japanese, which is something I currently struggle with. Moreover, since we can talk about any topic, the classes are always fun and engaging. Mayu-sensei always explains any words or grammar points I don’t understand in a patient and gentle way, and she always sends me a summary of what I struggled with during the class, which makes it so much easier for me to review and study on my own at home. I’m very grateful to have found Mayu-sensei, and I look forward to continuing my Japanese learning journey with her guidance."
"I truly look forward to my lessons with Yumiko Sensei. She strikes a great balance between structured learning and more free-flowing conversation. She always comes to class with prepared materials, but she also allows us to explore a topic when it comes up naturally in discussion. What I especially appreciate is Yumiko Sensei's calm and friendly presence. She brings her own personality into the lessons in such a natural way, making the classes feel comfortable, engaging, and fun. Moreover, she is great at correcting my mistakes while still making sure our conversations continue to flow naturally."
"The classes are incredibly productive and well-structured! The first lesson was especially engaging, and I appreciated Ritsuko-sensei's thoughtful approach in assessing my level of proficiency. One of the most significant aspects of the lessons is that I don’t experience any language barriers—Ritsuko-sensei actively encourages me to learn new vocabulary to better express my thoughts and feelings. My goals for learning Japanese may evolve over time, but Ritsuko-sensei helps me identify those goals and adapts her teaching methods accordingly. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule, I’m unable to take as many classes per week as I would like. If I had more time, I would definitely increase the number of sessions, as the time truly flies during her classes!"

"Like most people, I work full time, so I really appreciate how the videos are on demand. While the courses are on demand, it still feels like you have a teacher because Saya is with you every lesson in video format. She provides many examples at the end of each lesson. The lessons are well crafted, and I appreciate how the lesson slides are available for download, so I can review throughout the day as well. I would recommend this course to anyone who is just getting past learning their hiragana/katakana. The topics of the courses are well thought out and useful."

"This course is suitable for students who have completed an introductory level course. It will teach you why and when to use different levels of polite language (敬語). Even if you’re not particularly interested in learning highly native colloquial expressions, by the end of the course, you’ll understand why Japanese people use them and what they mean."
