Your guide to finding the right teacher and starting your learning journey.
Each teacher at SAYAS has unique specialties and teaching styles. Click “Learn More” on the teacher list to explore their profiles and find the right fit for you.
Visit the teacher’s profile and click “Book Trial Lesson” to view their schedule and book a trial class. Payment is required at the time of booking.
Right after scheduling, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link to join the class. If you have any questions, reply to the confirmation email to contact your teacher directly.
During or after your trial lesson, the teacher will provide “Regular Class Guidance” (A document that explains how to take classes regularly) and a link to purchase lesson packages if you’re approved to continue. Please read it carefully for details on future lessons.
You can enter your coupon code when scheduling or purchasing lessons.
Trial Lesson Requirement:
It's required to take a trial lesson and receive approval before booking further classes. Approved students will receive a booking link during or after their trial lesson.
Rescheduling & Cancellation:
You may reschedule or cancel a class up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellation or changes within 12 hours are not allowed, and no refund will be provided.
If you cancel within the allowed timeframe, refunds will be processed manually and may take up to 15 business days to appear in your account. If you do not receive your refund after this period, please contact us at info@sayasjapanese.com.
No-Show Policy:
If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the class will be canceled with no refund.
If a teacher fails to appear or cancels within 12 hours of the lesson, you will receive a full refund or one free lesson if using a package. Contact info@sayasjapanese.com if the teacher is unresponsive.
Contacting Your Teacher:
If you will be late or cannot attend your lesson, contact your teacher directly by replying to the appointment confirmation email.
Purchasing a Package:
Teachers will send you a purchase link after approving you in the trial lesson.
Using a Package:
After purchase, you’ll receive a code to book lessons according to your package.
If you prefer a fixed weekly schedule (e.g., same day and time), arrange this directly with your teacher—no need to book through the scheduling link.
Teacher-Specific Packages:
Packages are valid only for the teacher from whom you purchased them. If you want to switch teachers, you must buy a new package.
If a teacher discontinues classes or in special circumstances, you may request to transfer your remaining lessons to another teacher. Please contact info@sayasjapanese.com for assistance.
No Expiration Policy:
Packages at SAYAS do not expire—you can use your lessons anytime, as long as your teacher continues offering classes.
SAYAS Japanese School is dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
Respectful Conduct:
Teachers have the right to terminate a class (without refund) or discontinue future lessons (with a refund for unused lessons) if a student engages in inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to:
Discrimination (e.g., based on gender, race, nationality, or sexual identity)
Harassment or offensive language/actions
Repeatedly ignoring teacher guidelines
Technical Issues:
Ensure your internet connection and audio/video are working properly before class.
If technical issues arise on the teacher’s side, you will receive a full refund or a make-up lesson.
If technical problems occur on the student’s side, no refund will be provided.

Always check your time zone when booking—if incorrect, change it using the time selector.
